Acceptance
By creating an account or using Memories R US (“MRU,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when creating an account or a space.
Acceptable use
Use MRU to build spaces for genuine life events. Don’t use it to publish unlawful, harassing, or infringing content, to impersonate someone else, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
Your content
You (or your space’s guests) retain ownership of the content submitted to a space. By submitting content, you grant MRU a license to host, store, and display it as part of operating the platform — nothing more. If you’re an owner or moderator of a space, you’re responsible for what you publish or approve on it, including guest tributes and media you choose to accept.
- Permission from the people shown. When you upload a photo or video, you confirm that you took it or have permission to share it, and that the people who can be clearly recognised in it are happy for it to be shared, with a parent or guardian’s agreement for children.
- Review. A space’s owner and moderators review what guests send before it appears, and are responsible for what they approve.
- Removal requests. Anyone, with or without an account, can ask for a photo, video or tribute to be removed using the “Request removal” link on a space. The space’s owner and moderators decide; if they haven’t within 7 days, we step in. The person who asked hears the outcome within a month.
- Our removals. We remove content when it’s unlawful, breaks these terms, or is the subject of a valid removal request.
Billing
Paid plans and their pricing are shown at the point of purchase. Purchases are processed through our payment provider; see your account’s purchase history for a record of past transactions.
Prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT at 7.5% is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
Refunds follow our Refund Policy: one-time plans within 14 days if the space has never been published, Agency subscriptions run to the end of the paid period, and billing errors are always refunded.
Ending your use
You can archive or permanently delete a space you own at any time from your dashboard. Deletion is permanent and removes the space’s content — see our Privacy Policy for details. We may suspend or terminate access to the platform for a violation of these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
MRU is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
